A Planet of Playthings, we Dance on the Strings of Powers we cannot perceive
One of the greatest lyrics ever written in music. Video below. 2nd video w/ Vertical Horizon.
Studio version. Clear, concise and dynamic. Mostly known for their collective musicianship, the lyrics were powerful and had meaning beyond comprehension. Neil Peart was the mind behind the lyrics. Mostly an introverted youth, he grew up in Canada, read a lot, and learned to play the drums at a young age.
He joined RUSH and the rest is musical history. Over the years I would listen to them and go see them in the Philadelphia venues to a packed house. I learned to play the guitar and picked away at it, listening to RUSH albums and CD’s. They were very unique and fascinating in their approach and creativity.
In early 2020, just prior to one of the biggest global health psyops, I heard that Peart had died after being sick for a several years with brain cancer. Peart’s life was extinguished as my mother’s was from the same diagnosis called Glioblastoma. A fast growing and deadly brain tumor becoming more prominent in the world. In the late 90’s he lost his daughter in a car accident and then his wife died from cancer. He found love again and made some more music with RUSH. Finally inducted into the Rock and Roll HOF in 2013.
Cancers were relatively unknown before the medical practice of vaccination. The pieces of the puzzle are finally being filled in as to why cancer and overall disease has exploded. Purposeful research in how to induce cancerous malignancies has taken place over the years. The commoners that inhabit the world just cannot fathom the level of destruction and chaos in play. Covid was the culmination of the intent to harm and corrupt the blood by those who want everything for themselves.
Peart in 2012 playing with Vertical Horizon on a track named “Instamatic” (below video).
Sometime after his death I found this video online. What a great moment that shows that even in his late 50’s, his power and abilities to master any piece of music. Just the strength that he exhibits in this song is an absolute treat for any drummer. He truly was the Professor on the Drumkit.
One of the greatest three man band rock groups in the history of Rock n' Roll with one of the best drummers in the world! RIP Neal!
The flavor he added to Instamatic was classic Peart. I wish he had done more of this. He might not
